symbol symbolWILSON, Ross William – Age 81, of Brigden, passed away peacefully at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Beloved husband of Edythe (Mills) for 62 years. Loving father of Deborah (John) Barrett of Sarnia, Calvin (Cheryl) Wilson of Brigden and Delores Wilson of Brigden. Loving grandfather of Shawn, Robert, Kara, Michael, Jessica and Matthew. Cherished Pappa Man of Kailey, Carsin, Averi, William, Kaitlyn, Finn and Frazer. Survived by nieces and a nephew. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Bella (Anderson) Wilson, son Wayne Robert Wilson and sister Mary (Joe) Reily. Ross worked at Imperial Oil in Sarnia for 38 years but his greatest love of all was his 4th generation family farm. Ross was a Life Member and Past Master of Leopold Lodge No. 397 Brigden and the District Deputy Grand Master of Sarnia District in 1981. Ross was an active member and past president of Moore Agricultural Society for many years. A special thank-you to Dr. Li, Dr. Kay and all the staff of Fiddick’s Nursing home for their fine care.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00pm.

MASONIC SERVICE
A Leopold Lodge Masonic Service will be held at 6:00pm on Friday.

FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00am from the funeral home with Rev. Sandra Fogarty officiating and interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.

DONATIONS
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Parkinson Society or Brigden United Church.

  2. My deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband and father. I had the pleasure of helping care for Ross during his time at Fiddick’s. Your dedication and love for Ross was palpable. He will be missed by all of us at Fiddick’s. Kathleen (care giver).
