Campbell, Douglas

June 21, 1947 ~ August 8, 2021

IMG 05023CAMPBELL, Douglas Donald – Age 74 of Brigden, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, August 8, 2021 after a long, difficult battle with mesothelioma. Loving Dad of Michelle (Bruce) Baker and Tracey (Mark) Sitzes. Cherished Grandpa of Tyson and Hayden Sitzes. Dear brother of Barb (Jim) Morley. Brother-In-Law of Keith (Helen) Japp. Predeceased by wife Karen (Japp) (2011), Dad Donald (1988), Mom Ona (2021), Sister-In-Law Beth Jaques (2017), Brother-In-Law Lyle Jaques (2015) and parents-in-law David Japp (1984) and Annie Japp (1989). Dad worked his whole career as a pipefitter with Local 663. He was a quiet man who loved country living. He also loved reading, crossword puzzles, backroad driving and was an avid sports fan. His Grandsons Tyson and Hayden lit up his world. Words cannot express how grateful we are to VON nurse Shirley, Dr. Kim and his hospice team for their care and support during this difficult journey.
