zenick-pic-2ZENICK, William Russell – Age 73, of Wilkesport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Son of the late William and Laura (nee Doan) Ziniuk. Beloved husband of Nancy Zenick (nee Lawrence). Loving father of Kelly (Chris) Wells of Sarnia, Bill (Laura) Zenick of Saskatchewan, Peter (Marielle) Zenick of Sarnia and Rachael (TJay) Waite of Alberta. Cherished by his grandchildren Kitty Wells, Matthew Wells, Erin Wells, Sarah Zenick, Bobby Zenick, Zack Waite, Drew Waite and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gayle and Don Roberts. Survived by his in-laws Linda Irwin, Phyllis Lawrence, Allan and Cindy Lawrence, Bertha Lawrence. Predeceased by his beloved grandson Bradley Waite (2014), in-laws Donna and Nick Carter, Neil and Joanne Lawrence, James Lawrence, Jack and Joan Lawrence, Keith Irwin, Peter Lawrence as well as his nieces Kerry Irwin and Christy Lawrence. Russ worked for the Local 539 Sheet Metal Union for many years.

SERVICE DETAILS
At Russ’s request cremation has taken place and Graveside Service will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:00pm.

DONATIONS

  3. Nancy, Kelly, Bill, Peter, Rachael & Family. Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to you at this time. Russ was “one of the good guys” as my mom always said, and both Corrine and I always agreed. Russ had a heart of gold and we’ll never forget all he did for my parents.
    One day Russ when I make it up there I know you’ll offer me a beer and we’ll sit down chat, laugh together and of course tease each other till we laugh even harder. Whenever it may be that I raise my next beer, I’ll be thinking of you bud! No good byes my friend…as I’ll be seeing you again. Love from all the Browns.
