IMG 4964Bruce Bradley, 88 years, dearly loved husband of the late Betty Bradley (nee Davis) passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Bear Creek Terrace, Petrolia. Cherished father of daughters Patty (Todd) Unsworth and the late Karen (Donny) Kabbes. Adored Papa of Joseph (Shelby) Unsworth, Jake (Tiffany) Unsworth, Jeffrey (Carlene) Kabbes and Luke (Hannah) Kabbes. Proud Great Papa of Lyra and Scarlet Unsworth, Jaiden and Ava Unsworth, Joanie, Greta, Harvey and Clayton Kabbes and Kacey and Layla Kabbes. Dear brother of late Lois (late Bill) O’Hara, late Earl (late Donna) Bradley and Elaine (Andy) DeHaan. Steadfast brother-in-law of late Joyce (late Bill) Holmes, late Beverly (Catherine) Davis and Ila and Glen Dawson. Respected uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Leonard and Dorothy Bradley. Bruce embraced a quiet, country life as a cattle farmer alongside his brother Earl in Dawn Township. He was an active member of the Ontario Harness Horse Association owning and training many standardbreds to pace. Bruce had a keen sense of cardinal direction and knew the lay of the land throughout Lambton and Kent County. He enjoyed euchre, country music, dancing the polka, Tim’s hot coffee, driving FORD trucks and cherry pie!

Funeral Details
Family and friends will be received at Steadman Brothers Funeral Chapels, Brigden on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 10:00am until the time of the service officiated by Pastor Tim Brown at 11:00am. Private interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3164 St. Clair Parkway, Sombra, ON.

    We are very sorry to hear of Uncle Bruce’s passing and send our sincere condolences.
    I have a fond childhood memory of him giving me a ride on the sulky. (Probably couldn’t do that today) We could always count on fun and lots of laughs when visiting the Bradley farm!
    We will remember him as a kind and gentle man.
