BAILEY, Jesse-It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Jesse. Cherished son of Judy and the late Lenny Bailey. Brother of Katie Bailey and an adored uncle (better known as the fun one) of Demari Bailey. He left behind many aunts and uncles as well as cousins. Great friend of Jill Simpson, Ryan Sanderson, Lonnie Mansfield, all of the Pedersen’s, Sarah Oughtred, Diane Nemcek Hamilton and many in New Zealand. Jesse grew up in Petrolia where he was known for being a great hockey player but a better ball player. Many would ask for an update on Jesse which was met with “typical Jesse” meaning he was having fun, working hard and a man of few words. Later Jesse moved out west and finally to New Zealand, where he created a life many of us would envy. Known in New Zealand as a hard worker, caring and fun, he’s left an impression and empty void for his crew. He lived by his own terms, travelling as often as he could around the world. He loved Spain but Kenya was what he would want to call home with plans to retire with his sister in Africa. Words cannot express how missed he is and will be forever.
