  1. Art was a gentleman and a scholar, he enjoyed his Ridgetown College Reunions and was always up for a visit.
He was a walking book of knowledge for the cemeteries he provided his expert services to. He knew the precise
size and number of scoops of earth that had to be removed! He made time to do jobs when you required his services.
Trencher you were one of a kind! Thanks for the memories. RIP.

  2. Dear Bev and family,

  5. Sending our deepest sympathy and prayers to Bev and family. May your many memories of Art give you comfort at this sad time.

  6. Growing up I always thought of Art as on honorary uncle. Seems like we saw him almost every day at the kitchen table for coffee. My siblings and I most memorable Christmas present was from him. It wasn’t what was in it but the thought he put into it. He wrapped a Tv box and inside it was another box and then another box and so on and so on. Eleven or twelve boxes later wrapped in a few rolls of tape was a box of turtles. It took us hours to get there but I still chuckle every time I think of it💕

  7. Art was such a great guy. So many nice memories especially when Sherm was a part of our foursome.
You blessed so many when you found each other. We were all so happy for you both. I saw the birthday card Art sent you on display there tonight at Steadmans. You certainly appreciated one another. We will all miss Art very much.

  8. so sorry for your loss.

  15. Art was as reliable as they come – a true man of his word. I appreciated his take on life and sense of humour. Mostly though, I admired Art for the fine example he set for elder care. He was always patient and kind – clearly adored his parents, and they adored him in return. Rest in heavenly peace Art.

  16. Arthur Moffat…what an extraordinary person! Local and family history, a tradesman with no peers. How we enjoyed those casual visits over coffee, or those times we requested service. I know he performed many varied tasks for us. Never questioned why, he just performed. One occasion he brought his dozer to flatten a spot in the yard so I could create a skating rink for the kids. You called no-one else. Gone but not to be forgotten. To Bev, family and his friends sincere condolences. Lars & Rene Bouman

  17. Beverely and Family, so sorry to read of Art’s passing, we go back a long time to days in Sombra and drinking plenty of coffee together. I am also sorry that I will not be attending services as I am home recovering from open heart surgery. R.I.P. Art. Ben & Donna
