McCALLUM, Charles – With great sorrow, the family of Charles McCallum, of Petrolia, announce his passing on May 4, 2011 at Albany Retirement Home, Petrolia, in his 81st year. Charles was born in Diamondale, Michigan, June 21 1930, the son of the late John and Myrtle (Adams) McCallum, raised by the late Allison and Mary Cook. Beloved husband of Jean (Brooks) McCallum of 39 years. Loving step-dad of Larry and Judy Tanner of Sarnia, Linda Walker of Sarnia, and Sandi and Ken McInnis of Chatsworth. Cherished by 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Survived by sister Donelda Stephenson and sister-in-laws Marg McCallum and Mary McCallum. Predeceased by siblings and in-laws Wilbert and Aileen McCallum, Tob Stephenson, Ruby and Ray McPhail, Evelyn and George Jarvis, Doris and Stan Davis, Delbert McCallum, and Dalton McCallum. Charles loved his agricultural heritage and restored many vintage tractors. He enjoyed showing them at local antique shows.

Following Charles wish there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Alvinston Cemetery.
