1. Dear Brenda and family, Ralph and I send your deepest sympathies to you and the family! So sorry for your loss…

2. Lois and I are very sorry for the family’s loss of Brian. We would see Brian in Fort McMurray for the eight years that our daughter Lisa and Nick lived there with their three girls.
   Our best memory of Brian was working with him in Oahu Hawaii to complete the hall so the assembly could get an occupancy permit to have all assembly meetings. Brian loved projects and he designed and helped install the irrigation system.
   We often saw him in later years at Owen Sound Gospel Hall.
   Brian helped in the children meetings with texts and boxes with Bible verses engraved on them for each child. He designed and published a hymn book to be used in gospel meetings. He also provided the sound systems for the gospel tent.
   Brian will be greatly missed by his family and the Owen Sound assembly.
   He finished his ministry, stayed true to his beliefs and had a good testimony!
   We are sure he is enjoying heaven with his Saviour Jesus Christ. No more pain or sorrow or sickness forever.

8. Dear Brenda and family,
   I worked with Brian for almost 30 years until his retirement…One of Several!! We had so much fun and he was a great mentor to me. He had so many stories to tell and because we were both woodworkers, many of those stories revolved around his or my projects. After he retired from Imperial Oil, he just couldn’t stay still and moved out to Fort McMurray and became a shutdown co-ordinator. He was also in Venezuela. He told me about having to check his shoes every morning for scorpions! He left one company in Fort Mac, only to start up again with another company there.
   When he finally did retire, he sold his home in Wallaceburg and moved full time to Tobermory. On those trips from Tobermory to Wiarton,he would call me up and we would chat all the way to the lumberyard or wherever he was going. I am going to really miss those calls.

12. Dear Brenda and family,

    Very sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. He was a great friend and neighbour. He was also one of the pioneers on Larry’s Lake. I’ll miss his stories of the oil projects out west. Always willing to help out with a project or with blowing snow. He will be missed.

We were truly fortunate and blessed to have such an amazing neighbour – so kind, caring, generous, he always had a smile and time to share a story. We will miss him very much.
