  1. Lynn was a lovely person and a joy to be around. As a child, the Thompson home was one of the first places where I felt safe being away from my own home. Lynn was the pivotal reason for the security that I felt, as her nurturing demeanor was obvious to anyone who had the pleasure to meet her.

I can also say with a chuckle now, that Lynn even saved me from what could have been a very embarrassing moment when I was around 7 years old… I trust she always kept that between us 🙂

The fact that Lynn raised five boys into good, family men is a testament to her own strength and kindness.

  2. Dear Kevin and family, so sorry to hear of Lynn’s passing. She was kind, thoughtful and we shared a few laughs together on the occasions we saw each other. Nothing made her more proud and happy was to be with family. She will be missed by many.

  23. I was very saddened to learn about Lynn’s passing. It’s been a very long time, but the fondest memory I have of Lynn was as a kid – being a grade 10 implant at SCITS after our family moved here from Alberta – I definitely wasn’t part of the “IN” crowd 🙂 You were the best high school bus driver there ever was — I still remember you playing “The Knack” cassette over and over, the music blaring out of the home speakers affixed up at the front of the bus, until I knew every word by heart… you were the coolest and you made the high school experience so much fun .. you never let anyone bully anyone on the bus and that was always how you were – you treated everyone with kindness. I just know every life touched even in the smallest way was that much more blessed by you. God give you rest in His peace Lynn. Deepest condolences and prayers for Kevin, Mae, Jeff and all the family ♥ God bless and give you comfort in your time of sorrow. I am so very sorry for your loss.
