BELAN, Michael Sr. – Age 87 of Oil Springs, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Bluewater Heath, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Di Belan for 63 years. Loving father of Mike (Pam), Pat (Donna), Doug (Cindy), Dennis (Sandy), Todd (Liz), Tony (Cyndi) Belan. Cherished grandfather of Mike (Leah), Nikki (Bryan) Weaver, Breyden (Michelle), Kris (Sarah), Hannah, Cody, Brandy (Derek), Curtis, Brittney, Kelsey (Joel) Myers, Jamie, Justine, Brock, Shawna (Jesse). Great-grandfather of 12. Survived by his brother Lloyd (Patricia) Belan and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother John (Muriel) Belan and parents Tony and Anna Belan.

Funeral Details
A celebration of life will take place at the Inwood Fire Hall (6483 Weidman Line, Inwood Ontario, N0N 1K0) on Sunday, February 09, 2020 from 2-5 pm.

  7. Mike Belan could fill a room just by walking in. He worked hard, played hard and always had a laugh. I’ll remember most about Mike was talking about “Donkeys” all the time? Then one day it struck me, he was talking about , Todd, Tony, The Twins, Pat, Mike JR.. and all of us that hung around the Belan homestead…. “Donkeys!” …. this Donkey will miss Mike and I’m sure all of us who hung around the homestead with Mike & Di…..
