DELL, Harvey Douglas -In his 86th year, of Sombra, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia. Beloved husband of the late Betty Reta Dell (Rankin)(2022). Harvey put his faith in Christ at a young age. In his early years Harvey farmed in Sombra Township, he later worked for Eaton Yale/Oxford Automotive. He had a strong work ethic receiving perfect attendance many years and enjoyed getting to work early for a coffee and a hand of euchre with the guys before beginning a shift. He was passionate about sports and hockey. Loving father of Brenda Dell, Ken (Margaret) Dell and John (Jodi) Dell. Cherished grandfather of Kristen (Mike) Carter, Jordan (Heather) Dobratz, Damien Ninham, Amber Dell, Aaron Dell, Austin Dell, Sarah (Stephen) Curtiss, Julia Dell, Laura Dell, Reanna (Max) Wilson, Hannah Dell and Victoria Dell.  Great-grandfather of Zaporah, Sage, Aiden, Isaak, and Ilsa. Harvey was the eldest son of his late parents Ellis Cooper Dell and Lilleth Maude (Smith) Dell. Dear brother of Elwin (Marlene) Dell, Allen Dell, Murray (Janet) Dell and Bill (Chris) Dell. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Harvey’s family would like to thank the staff at Lambton Meadowview Villa for all their love and care, and beautiful words of affection.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 5-8pm.

FUNERAL
Funeral service will be held at the Lambton Baptist Church / Church on River, 3886 St. Clair Parkway, Sombra on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Duthil Cemetery.

I was very fortunate to have Granpa Harvey as my father in law for 32 years.We spent many hours watching Jordan Dobratz play hockey in tournaments every where.I will miss him dearly and looking forward to seeing him again soon in the Rapture,as we are in the last of the Last Days.Rest well Poppa Bear from your Lenny Boy,Len Dobratz.
