I had the pleasure of working a Wallaceburg – Sombra combined marine patrol with Ralph for an entire summer on the old Sombra boat back in the 80s. Ralph always struck me as the strong silent type but always gave the impression that he had your back when needed. He was a wealth of information on marine patrol and boats in general. I had the pleasure a few times of having coffee with him at our retiree breakfasts in Sarnia in more recent years. Ralph will be missed by all. Rest In Peace Brother.
