HUMPHREY, Doris Marion (nee Blackmore) – Age 94 of Strathroy, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy. Beloved wife of the late Clarence John Humphrey (2015) for 72 years. Loving mother of Phillip (Nancy) Humphrey of London, Sharon (David) Peters of Melbourne, Lynne (Lorne) Thomas of Appin and Steven (Lucy) Humphrey of Perth Road Village. Cherished grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 17 and great-great-grandmother of 3. Survived by her sister-in-law Shirley as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gertrude (nee Sharman) and Fredrick Blackmore, sister Edith Higgins, brother Fredrick Blackmore and daughter-in-law Anne Humphrey. Doris will always be remembered for her love of music and dancing.
SERVICE DETAILS
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date with interment at Longwoods Cemetery, Melbourne.
