PictureJONES, John Wayne – Age 78, of Sarnia passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was born August 13, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Merle and Richard Jones. He is predeceased by his wife Christena Jones (2020) and step-son Lamar Reid. John was a loving father/step-father to Christie (Andrew) Withers, Rick (Araceli) Jones, David (Bonnie) Reaburn-Jones, Brenda Gastineau, Linda Music and Kathe (Mark) Tefft. John was blessed to have many wonderful grandchildren and was a brother to Judy, Ron and Patty. Throughout John’s life, he demonstrated pride and commitment to all the work and activities that he did. He held a number of different jobs and was actively involved with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Optimist Club in the Ipperwash area and Wildwood by the Lake trailer park. He also enjoyed hobbies such as writing, scrapbooking, flower-arranging and fishing. John will be missed by many friends, family and by all who knew him.

Visitation/Funeral Details
Family and friends are invited to a visitation and service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1400 Murphy Road in Sarnia, from 10:00 to 11:00am on Friday, February 23, 2024 with a funeral service starting at 11:00am.
