OLIVER, Donna Fern (nee Mitchell) – Age 88, of Brigden, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Russell Clifton “Cliff” Oliver (2013) for 59 years. Loving mother of Linda (late Lorne, 2013) Japp and Ron (Brenda) Oliver, all of Brigden. Dear grandmother of Jason (Nicole) Japp, April Japp and Richard (Chantel) Oliver. Cherished great-grandmother of Paige Wilson, Chelsea and Ryan Japp. Survived by her sister Doris Storey. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Lillie Mitchell, siblings Wilbert Mitchell, Lillian Hoskin, James Mitchell, Betty Johnson, Rita McLean, Dorothy Dekeyser.

Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 10:00am until service time at 12:00pm with Tim Brown officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.

  1. Linda, Japp and Oliver families, Brian and I were saddened to learn of Donna’s passing. She was very well respected in both her community and professional life. I know she earned the reputation of keeping Bank managers in line, making sure clients were looked after as they should be! Donna was a lovely person, may her memory be a blessing.
