PEAREN, Helen Louise – With saddened hearts the family of Helen Pearen announce her passing on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Bluewater Health – C.E.E. Site, Petrolia at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Vern Pearen (2003). Dear sister of Lloyd (Donna) Ferguson and Inez (Wayne) Gare. Predeceased by her parents John and Ruby Ferguson, by brothers Eugene Ferguson and Harvey Ferguson (Julie) and a baby brother. Helen was a nurse for several years and was a dedicated assistant for the Boy Scouts in the Moore area. She loved her farm with cattle and dogs.

Visitation
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Funeral Service
Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00 am from the funeral home. Interment will take place at Zion Cemetery on a later date.

  1. Lloyd & Donna and family: Sorry to read of the death of your sister and sister-in-law and aunt. . I know Lloyd and Donna and remember Inez and Wayne when they went to high school. I didn’t know your older brothers that had passed away and sister but it is a loss in the family. My condolences are with you at this time.

  3. Helen & Vern were our neighbours for many years. Had a great friendship with both of them Lots of coffee time visits with Helen who was a great friend. Very fond memories to look back on.

  4. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Helen’s family! We have known Helen for quite a few years as she was very active along with her late husband Vern helping with Scouting in St. Clair District and helped with our local Scout camp, Camp Chester.

  6. To Helens family, He was our neighbour for many years on the sixth line. We still have Vern’s truck she loved so much. Our grandson drives it . Our sympathies . The Leaper family.

  7. Helen was a kind dear lady who loved her animals . She was such a support to her late husband Vern for the Scouts . Another bright light in Brigden area gone. She had such a happy smile. God Bless Helen . Please accept our condolences on the loss of your loved one .
