WILSON, Edythe Willena (nee Mills) – Age 91, formerly of Brigden, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Bear Creek Terrace, Petrolia. Beloved wife of the late Ross Wilson (2015). Loving mother of the late Frederick Thomas Wilson (1954), Deborah (John) Barrett, the late Wayne Wilson (1975), Calvin (Cheryl) Wilson, Delores Wilson. Cherished grandmother of Shawn, Robert (Melanie), Kara (Scott), Michael (Tara), Jessica (Tim), Matthew (Shelbie), great-grandma to Kailey, Carsin, Averi, William, Frazer, Kaitlyn, Finn, Tate and the late Sherri (1979). Dear sister of the late Shirley (Stan) Freer of Petrolia, late Murray (Pat) Mills of Brigden, the late Gary Mills, Corrine (Jerry) Kinsman from Sarnia, Gloria (Ken) LaPierre from Alberta. Daughter of the late Fred and Pelma Mills. Edythe was a member of the Eastern Star for 70 years, spent many years volunteering with the Brigden Fair Homecraft Division and was a leader with the 4H. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Fiddick’s Nursing Home/Bear Creek Terrace Retirement Home for the care and compassion shown to Edythe.

Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 1:00 until the time of the funeral service at 3:00pm.
